A structural physics simulation demonstrating the deformation of a simply supported beam under point loads.
The Physics:
We model the beam using the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. The deflection is calculated by
superimposing the solutions for individual point loads.
The beam is "simply supported", meaning it rests on pin supports at both ends. It can rotate freely but
cannot move vertically.
Color Map:
The beam color visualizes the Internal Bending Moment (Stress).
Cyan = Low Stress
Red = High Stress (Max Tension)
Weights: 0
Max Defl: 0 mm
