HSK Flashcards

A minimalist spaced-repetition tool for mastering Chinese vocabulary from the official HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) curriculum.

1. HSK Levels

The system is divided into levels of increasing difficulty:

• Levels 1-3: Beginner basics (Hello, Thank You, numbers).
• Levels 4-6: Intermediate to Advanced daily usage.
• Level 7+: Near-native literary and academic vocabulary.

Use the checkboxes in the top-right to filter which words you want to practice.

2. How It Works

This is a passive "Shower Mode" player:

• Step 1: Shows the Character (Hanzi). Try to recall it!
• Step 2: Reveals Pinyin (pronunciation).
• Step 3: Reveals Meaning.

You can adjust the delay timings to match your thinking speed.

3. Controls

Pause/Play to stop on a tricky word.

History on the left keeps track of the last few words you saw.
